QuoteWerks Help
Version 26 (Build 2.10)

In today's PC environment it is common to have more than one monitor. QuoteWerks has the ability now to make efficient use of this multiple monitor environment. For example, it is advantageous to have the Product Lookup window open on a different monitor than the monitor that the main Quote Workbook is on, that way you fully see and interact with both windows at the same time. This is a very useful feature until you remote into this machine using a remote control software, like SplashTop, where you might only have one monitor at home while remoting into your work computer in the office that has 3 monitors. In this scenario, when the product lookup window opens on a different monitor you would not see it until you used SplashTop to switch to that monitor to see it. This is very counter-productive. To solve this issue, we have the "Single Monitor Mode", so when you remote in, just click the main toolbar button and all windows will open on the same monitor that the main QuoteWerks window is on. If you never want any window locations to be remembered, you can simply specify that on the Misc>Windows tab under Tools>My Preferences, in which case you would never need to use the Single Monitor Mode when remoting in.

As described above, Single Monitor Mode ensures that all QuoteWerks windows open and remain on the same screen as the main Quote Workbook. This creates a more streamlined and predictable workspace, especially when accessing QuoteWerks through remote or virtual environments where only a single display is available. By keeping tools like Product Lookup, configuration windows, and document views consolidated, users can navigate, edit, and build quotes without losing visibility or needing to manage off-screen windows. The result is a more efficient quoting experience with fewer interruptions and smoother work flows across environments.

To enable single monitor mode click on the Single icon from the standard toolbar:

When enabled, QuoteWerks forces all windows to open on the same monitor as the main QuoteWerks application.
