QuoteWerks Celebrates Community Recognition at ChannelPro LIVE: Chicago
The Windy City recently played host to ChannelPro LIVE: Chicago (April 2025), and QuoteWerks was thrilled to be recognized by the very community it serves! This dynamic event brought together Midwestern MSPs, IT service providers, system integrators, and VARs for two days brimming with actionable insights, technical deep dives, and invaluable networking opportunities – and QuoteWerks walked away with the prestigious ChannelPro Community Award.

ChannelPro's in-person conferences are designed to empower the channel, and this Chicago edition in Schaumburg, IL, was no exception. Attendees engaged in interactive presentations and panels featuring leading industry experts, all focused on helping them navigate the evolving IT landscape and build stronger businesses.
ChannelPro President Kelly Kocher emphasized the event's mission: "IT consultants are being pulled in a thousand directions. Our mission is to make these two days as impactful as possible... our tech events will help you build it."
Day 1: Unlocking New Service Opportunities and Celebrating Channel Excellence
The conference kicked off with ChannelPro Founder and Publisher Michael Siggins setting the stage for a day packed with valuable content. Sessions like "New Services You Aren’t Offering (But Should!)" highlighted often-overlooked, high-margin opportunities for MSPs, from automation and AI to compliance and physical security. Attendees also gained practical AI implementation tips from Zac Cramer of IT Assurance.
A major highlight of the first day was the ChannelPro Partner in Excellence Award, recognizing local champion Lori Tisnai of Computer Concepts USA for her outstanding contributions to the channel community through mentorship and fostering collaboration.
Adding a fun twist, ChannelPro’s Tech Editor Matt Whitlock introduced "MSP March Madness," a bracket-style security knowledge competition that engaged the audience.
The energy continued into the evening with a bustling exhibit hall reception. This provided a prime opportunity for attendees to connect with vendors, explore product demos, and engage in peer-to-peer discussions – a space where Brian Laufer and the QuoteWerks team connected with partners and potential users. A number of existing QuoteWerks customers stopped by to share their experiences, while many new MSPs were introduced to the power and efficiency that QuoteWerks offers.
Day 2: Addressing Local Challenges and Driving Operational Efficiency
Day two focused on regional issues and strategies for operational excellence. A panel featuring EMPIST CEO John Kampas and AMS Unlimited CEO AnnMarie Santamarina addressed the specific challenges facing Illinois MSPs in 2025, with Kampas emphasizing the power of "coopetition."
The discussion then shifted to "Building the Perfect AI-Powered MSP," featuring insights from Kelly Stone (Ironstone Strategy), Ronnie Parisella (DataBit), and Corey Kirkendoll (5K Technical Services). Later, Kirkendoll and Cramer returned to highlight the revenue opportunities presented by the Windows 10 EOL. Santamarina and Stone also tackled the crucial topic of client offboarding.
Throughout the event, Brian Laufer and the QuoteWerks team discussed how far the platform has come this year and offered insights into exciting new features on the horizon, further demonstrating QuoteWerks' commitment to innovation and meeting the evolving needs of MSPs.
The educational content concluded with a powerful keynote from Wei Chen Lin, CISA cybersecurity advisor for the Illinois region, on how MSPs can partner with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
Throughout the event, attendees enjoyed numerous opportunities to win prizes and network with peers and vendors.
